| The Cavs hosted a series of SIX Hardwood Classics (HWC) Nights at Quicken Loans Arena throughout the 2016-17 season, turning the clock back to the years 1983-1987. Each HWC Night transported fans at The Q to the mid-80’s when the Cavaliers played at the Richfield Coliseum, World B. Free led a ‘comeback season’ and a new look team took shape in ‘86 with Mark Price, Brad Daugherty, Ron Harper and Hot Rod Williams coming together in Cleveland.
Special in-game videos, music and entertainment were themed around the era. On the court, the Cavs of rocked retro orange uniforms, paying homage to the past. The bright orange jersey of the mid-80’s features the CAVS logo across the chest in white with blue trim. Blue and white also trim the sleeves and neck line.
